School came into existence in 1987 as a private Boarding School in the Goldhunga village committee ward no 3, Boharatar, Kathmandu. This type of school is running in Nepal as a Non-Governmental Organisation. The school is providing updated quality education to the small children from Kinder Garten to class 1 and continuously upgrading the class every new session. The teaching and learning process was started from 1st December 1987 within one small building inspiring 50 students, and about a half dozen teachers. Mr. Krishna Prasad Paudel had led the institution being the first Headmaster of Srijana English Boarding School and Devaki Devi Paudel was the administrator. When the school initially operated within limited premises, it eventually relocated to two separate locations: Goldhunga – 3, Bohoratar, where classes from Nursery to Class 5 were conducted, and Goldhunga – 1, Lolang, where classes from Nursery to Class 10 were held. However, adhering to the education laws of Nepal, which stipulate that a school cannot operate under the same name in different wards, a decision was made to register the school under a new name - Bal Srijana Boarding School. In the academic session of 2066 BS, the school successfully managed classes from Nursery to Class 10 at its Lolang site and classes up to Class 5 at the Bohoratar location. This move aimed to provide better facilities and resources to the students, enhancing their learning experience and overall development. In 2071 BS (2014 AD), the school formally became Bal Srijana Boarding School, signifying a new chapter in its journey of nurturing young minds. Taking charge of this esteemed responsibility were Mr. Jayaram Lamichhane, Janardan Aryal, and Urmila Aryal, dedicated individuals committed to upholding the school's legacy and fostering a conducive environment for the students' growth. WE HAD CHANGED THE SCHOOL'S NAME: In Its early years, our school proudly bore the name of SRIJANA ENGLISH BOARDING SCHOOL. Throughout its continuous journey, from the academic session of 2059 BS (April 14, 2001 AD, to April 12, 2002 AD), it became synonymous with providing quality education and nurturing young minds with care and dedication. However, as the government's education policies evolved, it became mandatory for all non-government educational institutions to register as private companies at the company registry office, in adherence to the newly established government rules. Unfortunately, we encountered a hurdle during the registration process – the name "SRIJANA ENGLISH BOARDING SCHOOL" had already been registered at the company registry office. As a result, we were unable to register under the same name once more. While the education minister proposed the possibility of using the same name if the school were established in a different zone, the register office strictly maintained that organizational names should not be duplicated within the country. In compliance with these regulations, our school's name was reluctantly registered as "MODEL SRIJANA ENGLISH BOARDING SCHOOL" from the academic session of 2059 BS (2002 AD). However, the school management committee and the entire school community felt dissatisfied with this new name. Understanding the significance of a school's identity, the management committee engaged in extensive discussions with stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and education experts, to find a more fitting and meaningful name for the school. After much deliberation and contemplation, the school's name was ultimately transformed into "SRIJANA GYANSAGAR SCHOOL" from the academic session of 2070 BS (2013 AD). This new name carries profound significance, as "Srijana" signifies creation, while "Gyansagar" translates to ocean of knowledge. Together, the name embodies the essence of our school's mission – to be a nurturing haven where knowledge flows abundantly, fostering the growth and development of young minds. With the dawn of "SRIJANA GYANSAGAR SCHOOL," we embark on a renewed journey of academic excellence and holistic education. We are grateful to our school's community for their unwavering support and valuable input throughout this transformative process. As we move forward with this new name, we remain steadfast in our commitment to shaping compassionate, knowledgeable, and forward-thinking individuals who will make a positive impact on society and the world at large. SCHOOL'S STUDENTS AND THEIR PROGRESSING RECORD: Upon assuming leadership as "The Principal" on Magh 1, 2062 BS (January 14, 2006 AD), Mr. Rajendra Prasad Phuyal meticulously compiled essential data for our school. This data encompasses the number of students and their academic achievements, including School Leaving Certificate (SLC) and Secondary Education Examination (SEE) results. This invaluable information guides our pursuit of educational excellence and highlights the dedication of our students, teachers, and staff. With this knowledge, we strive to foster a nurturing environment and equip our students for a successful future, empowering them to make a positive impact on society. We are immensely grateful to Mr. Rajendra Prasad Phuyal for his foresight and diligence in creating this repository of vital information. His contribution to the school's legacy is immeasurable, as it enables us to chart a course of academic excellence and continue nurturing well-rounded individuals who are prepared to excel in their future endeavors and make a positive impact on society. THE HISTORY OF THE NUMBER OF TOTAL STUDENTS:
At its inception, the school had a humble beginning with only a few students enrolled in Nursery class up to Grade 3. However, as the years passed, the school witnessed a remarkable growth in its student body, reflecting significant numerical development in its history. Alongside this progress, a dynamic and dedicated school leader, serving as the principal, played a pivotal role in guiding the institution towards academic excellence and creating a nurturing environment for its students. Together, these factors have shaped the school's inspiring journey, paving the way for a bright and promising future for its students.

In conclusion, it is evident that the school leader, while important, cannot single-handedly achieve the goal of providing quality education. True success lies in the power of teamwork, as collaboration among school teachers, staff, and administrators is essential to create an environment conducive to learning and growth. Fortunately, we are blessed to have a highly dedicated team of school teachers and staff, each qualified and passionate in their respective fields. Their unwavering efforts contribute significantly to the students' educational journey. Many of our teachers and staff have been with us for an extended period, becoming an invaluable asset to the school. Their commitment and experience bring stability and continuity to our educational programs, enriching the overall learning experience of our students. Equally crucial is the trust and support of the parents, who place their faith in the school's management team and teachers. We value the constructive feedback provided by parents, as it helps us continuously improve and tailor our approach to meet the needs of every student. Furthermore, our motivation and inspiration are reinforced by the guidance and encouragement received from esteemed educationists and experts. Their professional insights have been instrumental in shaping our educational practices and policies. At last, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all - our dedicated team of teachers and staff, the supportive parents, and the wise counsel of educationists and experts. It is through this collective effort and unwavering commitment that we strive to provide the best quality education and empower our students to become responsible, compassionate, and successful individuals. Together, we build a foundation for a bright and promising future for the entire school community THANK YOU

When the school premises was small, the school was sifted in Goldhunga -1, Lolang, Kathmandu. The classes are running in two places i.e. Goldhunga – 3, Bohoratar (Class Nursery to Class 5) and Goldhunga – 1, Lolang (Class Nursery and Class 6 to Class 10). The next year the (academic Session 2066) there were complete classes were running from Nursery to 10 in the Lolang and Nursery to class 5 in the Bohoratar. But according to the law of education in Nepal, a school can not run in a different place in the same name. So we registered the new name i. e. Bal Srijana Boarding School. The school (Bal Srijana Boarding school) was separate in 2071 BS (2014 AD). The school was taken responsibility by Mr. Jayaram Lamichhane, Janardan Aryal, and Urmila Aryal.

How the school got the name?
During the establishment, the school name was Srijana English Boarding school. Hence Srijana means creation. Later on, the name was changed on 10 Dec. 2002, as Model Srijana Boarding school. Due to different circumstances and governmental policy -finally, the school got a good Nepali name on 8 July 2013 as Srijana Gyansagar School. The meaning of ‘Srijana’ means Creation and ‘Gyansagar’ means the knowledge of the ocean.
Change in the location and address of the school:
The school was established in Goldhunga Village development committee, ward No 3, Boharatar, Kathmandu - rented in buildings. The classrooms were very small and the school compound was less spacious for nurturing the pupils. So we changed the place i.e. Goldhunga VDC, ward No 1, Lolang. It was about 800 meters east from the previous address. The infrastructure of the school was made by the school in the rented land. There was not own school compound and the buildings occupied were also rented. When the agreement period of the land was finished, the landlord disagreed to extend the further agreement. So we were compelled to shift the school somewhere else. The school was shifted to another location, t Tarakeshwor–4, Purano Guheshwori, Kathmandu.
The building was constructed by the complete effort of Mr. Rajendra Pd. Phuyal having altogether 20 rooms with a meeting hall also had not sufficient space due to the increasing number of students. So the school was taken in another rented land in about 1780 sq. m for 15 years leasehold agreement. All the required infrastructures for the primary block was made. On the same way, another land with the building for pre-school about 770 Sq. M. was agreed within the same compound. Now we have 4 blocks to run pre-primary to secondary classes. Therefore, the school Srijana Gyansagar has enough space, well-equipped infrastructure, and excess teaching materials with an advanced laboratory and e-5library.
The present situation of school:
The school is being able to establish successful positive vibration around the society in most of the academic as well as ECA/CCA. As an academic part, we have got an excellent result -100 % first division with distinction. The batch of 2064, 2067, 2069, 2070, 2071, and 2075 BS are the appreciable batches with outstanding result in the northern belt of Kathmandu valley. We have got the first position in the batch 2070 from the girl’s side awared by formor Education and

In the other hand , Extra curricular activities/Co-curricular Activities have become pride of the school (Srijana Gyansagar). In the academic session of 2070 ,one of our students was able to win district level open speech competition conducted by Kathmandu Scout in the second position, which was the first open account in district level competition . At that time,a few ECA Teachers were there, i.e. dance teacher, music teacher, Basketball teacher. But now!! Wow!!! We have no space to demonstrate the medals, certificates, letters of appreciation, and letters of Honor. The school has a well equipped laboratory and e-library. Moreover, school is providing quality education and care to the pupil with holistic development.
At last, being a headteacher of this school ,I believe I am a self motivated, effortful and diligent person working continuously with my own courage and conscience.People might understand in a different way that their emotional temper is known as conscience. But they are extra different like fire and water. Because conscience means the fact of behaving in a way that you feel is right even though this may cause problems. Manyof the Buddha’s saying clears that the voice of your conscience is the voice of the universe or god and goddess. And I am continuously trying it with effortful diligence in my life. I teach this to others too. If we are fulfilling our responsibility, we need to reduce the attachment in anything. So that never forgrt to thank for everything whatsoever you achieve as unknown blessings from your guru, your parents, friends and society, with all the best wishes. That’s all.
Thank you.
